Join the 450+ employers offering placements

Each year, over 450 local employers host Year 10 student work experience placements under the Isle of Man Work Experience Programme, in conjunction with the Department of Education, Sports and Culture.

Isle of Man employers have also shown an impressive dedication to developing the future workforce by hosting summer placements, internships and graduate training programmes in support of developing the future workforce.

Every industry can offer valuable insight

We help students to find work experience placements in a whole array of industries - it's surprising what businesses in the Isle of Man can offer! Students have been able to uncover opportunities from engineering, avionics, and genealogy to accountancy, marketing, yachting and videography. There are no limitations to the insights into which young adults can be inspired to take their next career steps.

We couldn't do this without you

The work experience programme couldn't go ahead without the support of the hundreds of Island's employers who offer placements within their businesses each year.

Everyone does a brilliant job of making their students feel welcome in their place of work, and creating a meaningful experience for each young adult that enters their doors.

Thank you!
