How do I search latest job vacancies?
There are a few ways of searching for vacancies with employed.im!
First you can use the “Quick Job Search” on www.employed.im.
Once logged in, you can use the employed.im portal search all the available job vacancies on the Isle of Man!
Go to Opportunities to start searching. Here you can look for specific for opportunities using the search box. Use the filters on the left to refine your search down to job types, hours, tenure, contract types and how long the position has been posted.
You don’t need to have an account to view an opportunity, however, you will need to be registered and signed into your employed.im account to find out more and how to apply!

How do I export my CV?
You can create and update your CV digitally within your employed.im account – with no worries about losing the file or working out which is the most recent copy of it again!
If you ever need a copy of your CV, you simply need to go to your Profile > Options and select the drop down ‘Download CV’ – this will export your current details into a handy editable word document.
I can’t access my account – help!
If you have forgotten your login details, don’t worry! You will be directed to a password prompt and you can request an email reset!

Employers and organisation admins
How do I sign up my organisation?
To create an organisation and start advertising job opportunities you first you need to sign up as an individual – more information how to sign up is here.
You will now be able to register your organisation within the employed.im portal.
There are two ways of creating an organisation within employed.im:
- Once signed in, go the use the ‘Create Your Company’ short-cut on your My employed.im home page.
- Alternatively, go to Organisations and Options > select the drop down ‘Register a new organisation’.
Complete your company profile and submit Request Approval. The employed.im team will confirm your request then you will be able to start immediately posting job vacancies.
How do I become an administrator of an existing organisation?
You will need to be registered as an individual first to become an administrator of an organisation:
- If you would like to become an administrator of an existing organisation which already has an administrator – a current company admin will be able to go to My organisation > View > Contacts > Invite new admin and approve your profile!
- If you would like to become an administrator of an existing company which has no current administrator please contact email@example.com who will be able to help you out.
What happens if the administrator of our organisation has left?
If you would like to remove an admin of your organisation get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org and we can remove the old admin and invite a new chosen administrator!
How do I advertise my job vacancies?
You will need to be an admin of your organisation in order to post job vacancies. An exisitng administrator can add you to the organisation’s profile by going to My Organisation > View > Contacts > Invite New Admin.
To post a new job advert go to Organisations > My Organisations. Here you can select the organisation you would like to view and go to Opportunities > New Opportunity to complete the provided form.
For quick and easy listing you can also clone previous job adverts and update the information to your latest vacancy!
Why can't I save my job?
There are a number of fields within a job vacancy form which are mandatory in order to save your advert. Once you have completed all these fields the Save button will become available.
It is important to include as much information about an opportunity as possible to create interest about your vacancy and ensure that the right applicants find you!
