I had a number of jobs before and during University, in addition to a year working in a life assurance company after graduating. Although these were not specific to my current role, it was useful to gain these experiences.

What are the career opportunities in compliance?
Our industry (crypto) is still very young and constantly developing which will naturally create opportunities in the future. There is also the opportunity for further study in my role and I’m currently studying for the ICA International Advanced Certificate in Compliance.
The outdoors - it’s nice to be able to live so close to both the hills and the sea!
Why did you decide to pursue a career in compliance?
The crypto industry was something I had held an interest in before I began working for CoinCorner and the role offered many of the opportunities I was looking for when starting out in my career.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
As the industry is developing so fast, it is constantly changing and keeping up with these changes make the role both challenging and enjoyable.
