Interested in a banking internship?
Standard Bank Wealth International is inviting students and graduates to apply for its 2017 summer intern programme, running from July 10 until September 1.
Africa’s largest bank, which has its international division based in Jersey and the Isle of Man, says it prides itself in being ’a great place to do great work’.
Its intern programme was launched in 2015 and has been successful, with an average of seven interns completing the programme each year.
Some have gained permanent employment at Standard Bank after graduating.
Tom Burston, the resourcing partner at Standard Bank, said: ’We are really keen to offer high calibre, motivated school leavers or undergraduates with a strong set of A-level results the chance to join this fantastic intern programme.
’We will offer a hands-on opportunity to work at a dynamic and diverse organisation, which will give them invaluable experience and help strengthen their career prospects.
’They will be mentored, paid and encouraged to generate fresh ideas and perspectives.’
’Interns will experience the full diversity of international banking, including corporate and business banking, wealth management, marketing and operations.
’From Jersey or the Isle of Man, interns will be able to help drive Africa’s growth and make a real difference in this fascinating continent.’
Anyone interested in an internship should email Thomas.Burston@standardbank.com for more information.
